Nice apartment, well appointed, good kitchen utensils, with great views and on beach location. However, unless you bring your own, there is a considerable extra charge for towels and bedding! We were also surprised to find no toilet paper and other similar essentials when we arrived, which made for a disappointing start to our trip. Note: The underground garage is strangely complicated, and you need to press the button on the key fob to open the garage door once inside.

Place is lovely! The apartment it’s super clean, missing a couple of kitchen essentials but besides from that it’s pretty accurate to the description. The only little thing is that theirs is not explanation whatsoever about garbage disposal, we asked by email during our stay but answers were quite vague and take ages to get a reply. We had to figure it out for ourselves to be able to follow what the city requires, example; yellow bag is for general waste, blue bag for plastic, cans and milk containers, etc. These bags weren’t on the shelves at the grocery, they have them behind the cashier up for request. It would have been nice to have this kind of explanation and the disposal calendar for the 5 weeks we stayed there. We aren’t from Belgium reason why it took us longer to figure it out, asking neighbors etc. Maybe also a better communication and prompt response would be appreciated.

The château was perfect. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place for a summer weekend in the countryside. The garden is vast and enchanting, with a little bridge leading to the tennis court and a more wooded part of the grounds. The terrace offered plenty of space and a lovely view of the garden for our large group of friends. The kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms on the upper floors feature charming wooden floorboards and well-appointed bathrooms. What makes the house truly special, however, is its character – it’s not polished and pristine in a showroom kind of way, but stylish, full of charm, and a place you immediately want to return to. The surroundings are peaceful, and the icing on the cake are two geese who gracefully watch over the garden. Thomas was easy to reach, very fair, and refreshingly straightforward.
