You can rent your own desert oasis and experience the thrills of Reno, Nevada. Its glittering casinos will keep you entertained with card games, slot machines, and shows. You will have your pick of fine restaurants and delicious cocktails. If you want to leave the bright city lights and commune with nature, Lake Tahoe is only a short drive away.
I was looking for a spot just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Reno. Found this spot to be very convenient to the highways and directly across the street from multiple dining options, shopping mall, and Trader Joes. This hotel is newer with beautiful grounds and highlights include a very comfortable bed, updated bathroom with plenty of hot water, relaxing hot tub, a wonderful breakfast, and I appreciated the late checkout (standard check out is noon). The few disappointments was that The Market was poorly stocked with only a few granola/candy bars, the fryer was out of order so there was limited food available from the kitchen, the swimming pool was a little too chilly, even with the hot temp, and the room was not completely spic and span (found chips in the couch cushions and hair in the bathroom). Staff were very friendly and promptly addressed my questions and concerns during our stay.
