Keep in mind doing the right thing and the thing that makes us grow isn’t usually the easiest thing to do. But with practice it will become easier because [continue reading…]
It happens to everyone to some extent. [continue reading…]
We invited one of our children’s friends to join us and strategized how to beat or minimize the 1 hour wait by having a few people of which one was me arrive fifteen minutes before they open and do the waiting for everyone else. So we finally made it to the cashier and it wasn’t really welcomed that all of our party wasn’t there and I wanted to pay for them so they could join us upon arrival, but we got it worked out by the grace of G-d anyway.
There was just one little catch, [continue reading…]
You see, what I’ve done is created a habit of working on my dream that’s an everyday occurrence, just like brushing my teeth, and the great thing is you can do that too. Create a life (change for the better) habit in just 30 days. It’s been determined that the previously thought 21 days isn’t long enough based on testing done by NASA. [continue reading…]

If there’s one thing that tends to help many people including myself in shifting negative feelings over to the positive, music can often help a lot. When I saw the tacky video by Weird Al Yankovic (of which I’ve been a fan of for years), I wasn’t feeling bad or down, but it still lifted my spirits and created a good laugh or two.
Hopefully you already know how important happiness plays in our lives. It’s instrumental in leading a healthy life and it can be difficult to work with or communicate to others (or yourself) when they are unhappy. So if you’re happy most of the day, then what you’re doing is working and I suggest you keep doing it. If not however, take some time daily to work on finding ways to reverse the path of unhappiness that you experience so you can begin to enjoy your life more fully.
Enjoy Al’s video, be happy, and I’ll talk to you again soon,
Kevin

So what’s the challenge? The challenge is what it is you’re trying to accomplish. To be more specific, it’s your goal, your dreams. I make this distinction because it is so important and to take it one step further, it’s your big audacious dream and goal. If it weren’t, then there wouldn’t be much of a journey. In fact, we might call it a stroll.
Journey implies that you’re going somewhere that is beyond the end of your block. It gives you a long enough destination to be able to run, walk, stop, slow down, speed up, start again and so on. My point is don’t turn your journey into a race. Make it a challenge instead, that you’re committed to accomplishing regardless how long and how hard it takes to achieve.
I was talking to [continue reading…]
I just finished reading chapter 4 from the book “Dance Until It Rains” and I was introduced to a man named William Mitchell of which I had not heard of before. I’m not going to explain his story because it’s done well enough in the book and at the following video. I do recommend you check it out. What a tremendous story that will give you hope and inspiration. Enjoy.

It’s because I read from a positive self-improvement book and listen to self-improvement trainings every day. I rarely if ever miss a day to grow and get better. You probably already know this but, you’re either growing or falling behind (shrinking) because one thing’s for sure and that is, everything’s changing. In our world everything is changing, nothing stays constant. [continue reading…]
The interesting thing that was talked about in the book is the affect doing so has on others and how it can be passed along to others like a domino effect and result in perhaps a thousand people being positively touched because of the acts of kindness that you implement in your daily activities. [continue reading…]
However, the bottom line is trying to determine what putting your time, energy and effort into that’s worthy of you, isn’t an easy task. It takes a lot of self-reflecting, which means a lot of thought. But the good news if you work at becoming better, reading the books and listening to the self-improvement teachings, you’ll eventually figure things out. [continue reading…]
